1. About This Policy
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") sets out the rules that apply to everyone who accesses or uses the Platform at https://collabable.ai, operated by Collab Media Group Ltd ("Collabable", "we", "us", "our"). It forms part of, and must be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1.2 The AUP explains in practical terms what you may and may not do on the Platform. It complements the high-level prohibitions in clause 7 of the Terms of Service.
1.3 Any defined term used here has the same meaning as in the Terms of Service (for example, "Account", "Booking", "Content", "Host", "Guest", "Studio", "Studio Operator", "User").
1.4 By creating an Account or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Breaches of this AUP may result in the removal of Content, suspension, or termination of your Account, in accordance with clause 20 of the Terms of Service.
2. Who This Applies To
2.1 This AUP applies to:
- all Users of the Platform, including Hosts, Guests, Studio Operators, and visitors;
- all Content submitted, uploaded, shared, or transmitted through the Platform;
- all interactions with other Users, whether public or private.
2.2 We apply this AUP consistently and fairly, regardless of your Subscription plan or verification status.
3. Content Rules — What You Must Not Post
3.1 Illegal Content
You must not post, share, link to, or transmit any Content that is unlawful under the laws of the United Kingdom. This includes any Content that amounts to one of the priority offences listed in Schedules 5, 6, and 7 of the Online Safety Act 2023, namely (without limitation):
- Terrorism offences (including content that glorifies, promotes, or recruits for terrorism);
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content sexualising, grooming, or endangering children;
- Hate offences inciting violence or hatred on grounds of race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender identity (Public Order Act 1986, Communications Act 2003);
- Threats, harassment, stalking, or abuse, including coercive or controlling behaviour (Protection from Harassment Act 1997, Serious Crime Act 2015);
- Intimate image abuse — sharing or threatening to share private sexual images without consent (Online Safety Act 2023, sections 188–190);
- Fraud and financial crime, including scam offers, phishing, investment fraud, and money laundering;
- Drugs or psychoactive substances offences — offering or advertising illegal drugs (Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, Psychoactive Substances Act 2016);
- Firearms, weapons, or offensive weapons offences;
- Human trafficking, modern slavery, or unlawful immigration facilitation (Modern Slavery Act 2015, Immigration Act 1971);

3.2 Harmful or Inappropriate Content
Even where not strictly illegal, you must not post Content that:
- is defamatory, libellous, or slanderous;
- is grossly offensive, indecent, or obscene;
- is sexually explicit (the Platform is not an adult platform);
- glorifies or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
- promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups;
- depicts cruelty to people or animals;
- promotes or advertises dangerous products or activities without appropriate disclaimers;
- misleads Users about material facts (for example, falsely claiming expert credentials, fabricated collaborations, false location);
- is unsolicited commercial advertising unrelated to podcasting;
- contains personal data of third parties (other than yourself) without their consent, including photographs, voices, or contact details.
3.3 Intellectual Property
You must not post Content that infringes any intellectual property right, including copyright, trade marks, patents, database rights, or trade secrets. In particular, you must not:
- upload podcast clips, music, images, or video that you do not own or have explicit permission to share;

- quote or reproduce copyrighted work beyond what is permitted by fair dealing under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988;
- reproduce other Users' profiles, bios, or media without permission.
If you believe Content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please send us a takedown request as described in clause 10.
3.4 Privacy and Other Users' Rights
You must not:
- disclose or publish other Users' private messages, personal data, photographs, or contact details without their consent ("doxing");
- record, store, or redistribute audio or video of other Users without their express consent;
- submit Content in another person's name;
- use other Users' media samples, clips, or likeness without permission.
Respect for other Users' privacy is a core rule of the Platform.
4. Conduct Rules — How You Must Behave
4.1 Respect and Good Faith
You must treat other Users with respect and good faith. In particular, you must not:
- send abusive, threatening, insulting, or harassing messages;
- persist in contacting a User who has asked you to stop or has blocked you;
- engage in sexual harassment, unwanted romantic advances, or any conduct of a sexual nature outside the professional scope of podcast collaboration;
- discriminate against any User on grounds of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010;
- bully, shame, intimidate, or publicly target any User.
4.2 Honesty and Authenticity
You must not:
- create fake or misleading profiles, including fictional Hosts, impersonated Guests, or sham Studios;
- impersonate any person, organisation, or brand;
- misrepresent your identity, experience, credentials, location, or availability;
- falsify podcast statistics (downloads, listeners, rankings);
- make false claims about the quality of a Studio (equipment, capacity, soundproofing).
4.3 Reviews and Ratings
In addition to the rules in clause 11 of the Terms of Service, you must not:
- post a review about a User you have not actually worked or transacted with;
- post a review in exchange for payment, discount, gift, or any other incentive without clear and conspicuous disclosure;
- coordinate with others to post artificially positive or artificially negative reviews (review brigading);
- pressure or threaten another User to post, edit, or remove a review;
- write fake reviews of your own Account, or ask friends or employees to do so.
Prohibited under Part 4 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (fake reviews offences).
5. Commercial and Marketplace Rules
5.1 No Circumvention
You must not use the Platform to advertise services you intend to provide outside the Platform, or to solicit other Users to take their transactions off-platform to avoid our commission. In particular:
- do not include your external booking link, email, or phone number in a public profile in order to bypass the Platform;
- do not ask a Guest to pay you outside the Platform for a Booking discovered through Collabable;
- do not pressure a Studio Operator to process a Booking outside the Platform after contact was initiated through Collabable.
This rule does not prevent normal business communication between Users who already have a pre-existing relationship independent of the Platform.
5.2 Spam and Unsolicited Marketing
You must not:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, chain messages, or identical messages to multiple Users;
- use the direct-request feature to send marketing or promotional messages unrelated to a genuine collaboration request;
- harvest or misuse other Users' contact details for marketing purposes;
- send messages in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
5.3 Competition and Platform Integrity
You must not:
- list the same Studio multiple times to manipulate search results or ranking;
- use multiple Accounts to evade limits, bans, or suspension;
- manipulate the Trust Engine or recommendation algorithms through coordinated activity (click farms, engagement rings, artificial messaging);
- stuff keywords or categories into your profile to capture irrelevant traffic.
6. Technical and Security Rules
6.1 Access and Credentials
- Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share them with anyone.
- Do not try to access another User's Account, content, messages, or data.
- Notify us at contact@collabable.ai immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
6.2 No Interference
You must not:
- introduce viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious code;
- launch denial-of-service or brute-force attacks against the Platform or its Users;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any network on which it depends without our prior written permission;
- interfere with rate limits, security filters, bot detection (including reCAPTCHA or equivalent), or any security measure.
6.3 No Scraping or Automated Extraction
You must not:
- use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access, copy, or collect data from the Platform, except search-engine indexing of pages that are publicly accessible;
- bulk-download profiles, Studios, reviews, or any other Content;
- use data extracted from the Platform to train machine-learning models or databases without our prior written consent.
This rule is in place to protect our Users' privacy and the integrity of the Platform.
6.4 No Reverse Engineering
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, internal APIs, or algorithms of the Platform, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.
7. Rules Specific to Studio Operators
7.1 If you list one or more Studios on the Platform, you must also comply with the following rules.
7.1.1 Accurate listings
- List only Studios that you own, control, or are authorised to rent out.

7.1.4 No fake demand
- Do not fabricate demand by creating fake Bookings, fake reviews, or fake enquiries.
- Do not fabricate urgency ("only one slot left" claims that are not true).
8. Rules Specific to Hosts and Guests
8.1 If you create a profile as a Host, a Guest, or both, you must also:
- represent your podcast, experience, or availability truthfully;
- respect other Users' time, making and keeping commitments in good faith;
- treat contacting Users, conversations, and booking cancellations respectfully and timely;
- disclose material conflicts of interest when contacting or reviewing another User;
- honour any collaboration commitments you have accepted unless there is a legitimate reason to cancel (and then notify promptly).
9. Consequences of Breach
9.1 If we reasonably believe that you have breached this AUP or the Terms of Service, we may take one or more of the following actions, proportionate to the breach:
| Action | When it applies |
|---|---|
| Warning | Minor first-time breaches, or breaches that can be remedied |
| Content removal | Specific Content that breaches this AUP |
| Visibility restriction | Content demoted in search or recommendations |
| Feature restriction | Temporary loss of access to specific features (e.g., sending requests, reviewing, listing) |
| Account suspension | Temporary suspension for repeated or serious breaches |
| Account termination | Permanent termination for the most serious or repeated breaches |
| Legal action | Where a breach causes us or another User serious harm, we may refer the matter to the appropriate authorities or take civil action |
| Report to authorities | For illegal Content, we cooperate with law enforcement in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law |
9.2 Before taking significant action against your Account, we will normally provide a statement of reasons and an opportunity to challenge the decision, in accordance with clause 10 of the Terms of Service. We may act without prior notice where the breach is serious, ongoing, or where doing otherwise would compromise the safety of Users or an investigation.
9.3 No refund of Subscription fees will be owed in respect of a suspension or termination resulting from a breach of this AUP, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
10. Reporting Breaches
10.1 If you see Content or behaviour on the Platform that you believe breaches this AUP or the law, please report it by email at contact@collabable.ai.
10.2 Your report should include:
- a clear description of the Content or conduct;
- the location on the Platform (URL, username, Booking reference where relevant);
- an explanation of why you believe it breaches this AUP or the law;
- any supporting evidence (screenshots, messages).
10.3 We review reports without undue delay. We may contact you for clarification. We do not disclose the identity of a reporter to the person reported, unless we are required to do so by law.
10.4 No retaliation. We prohibit retaliation against Users who report breaches in good faith. Retaliation is itself a breach of this AUP and will be treated as such.
10.5 Abuse of reporting. Submitting manifestly unfounded or bad-faith reports is also a breach of this AUP. We may, after a warning, restrict the reporting rights of Users who repeatedly abuse the reporting mechanism.
