1. About This Cookie Policy

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Collab Media Group Ltd ("Collabable", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or interact with the website located at https://collabable.ai (the "Platform").

1.2 This Cookie Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

1.3 This Cookie Policy applies to users in the United Kingdom and is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), as interpreted by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

2.1 Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They allow the website to recognise your device and store information about your preferences or past actions.

2.2 We also use technologies with similar functions to cookies, such as:

  • local storage and session storage (data stored in your browser);
  • tracking pixels (small invisible images embedded in emails, used by our email provider Brevo to measure open rates).

In this Cookie Policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies".

2.3 Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser;
  • Persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them;
  • First-party cookies, set by the website you are visiting (collabable.ai);
  • Third-party cookies, set by a different domain (for example, by an embedded service such as Stripe or YouTube).

3. How We Use Cookies

5. How We Obtain Your Consent

5.1 Cookie banner. When you first visit the Platform, we display a cookie banner that:

  • describes the categories of cookies we use;
  • allows you to accept all, reject all, or customise your preferences;
  • offers "reject all" and "accept all" options with equal prominence (same size, same colour, same clickability);
  • does not use any pre-ticked boxes;
  • does not trigger any non-essential cookie before you have made an active choice;
  • records your choice so we do not ask again for 12 months.

5.2 Implied consent does not work. Simply continuing to browse the Platform is not treated by us as consent. We rely only on an active, affirmative action from you.

5.3 Refresh every 12 months. Your cookie preferences are refreshed every 12 months. After that period, we will ask you to renew your preferences.

5.4 Withdrawing consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:

  • by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page;
  • by deleting cookies through your browser settings and revisiting the Platform;
  • by contacting us at contact@collabable.ai.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any cookie-based processing carried out before you withdrew it.

5.5 This clause 5 reflects our obligations under regulation 6 of PECR and the ICO's July 2023 guidance on cookies and similar technologies.

6. Your Browser Controls

6.1 Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:

  • block all cookies, or only third-party cookies;
  • delete existing cookies;
  • receive a warning before a cookie is set;
  • set exceptions for trusted websites.

6.2 Instructions for the main browsers are available at:

6.3 Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies will prevent some parts of the Platform from working properly (for example, you may not be able to sign in).

7. Do Not Track Signals

7.1 Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry or legal standard on how to respond to DNT signals, and the Platform does not change its behaviour based on DNT alone. You can control our use of cookies through the mechanisms described in clauses 5 and 6 above.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

8.1 We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, the services we use, or the law. The "Date of Last Update" at the top of this document indicates when the most recent changes took effect.

8.2 Where we add, remove, or materially change a cookie in a non-essential category, we will ask you to renew your consent before the change takes effect.
